Fordham Road lost a room that seated whole families while fifty-five million landed downhill

The Dallas BBQ at the foot of West Fordham Road is closed. Workers were seen clearing the space in the first week of January, and a printed notice went up on the door. It was the chain's first Bronx location, open for more than twenty years by the company's own count, and it sat at the corner of Cedar Avenue, next door to Salsa Con Fuego, in a building that housed Jimmy's Bronx Cafe before that.
